Eco Clubs in Schools and Colleges
Eco Clubs play an important role in creating environmental awareness amongst the future generation.
Aims and Objectives of the Eco Clubs: –
To create environmental awareness among the school & college students for environmental protection/ improvement and to inculcate the culture of eco-friendliness and environmental conservation among them.

1.To conduct various Environment Campaigns involving various schools & Colleges.
2. Appreciation awards to Best Eco-club schools and colleges.
3.Various Competitions at State/ School / College level to be conducted.
4.Including poster competition, quizzes, etc. and organizing Annual Eco- Meet and Vacation Programme for students.
5.To create awareness regarding Godavari river pollution, its cleaning and rejuvenation among students:visit to water bodies/ rain water harvesting structures/ biodiversity parks. Practicing water conservation activities.
6.To involve participation of students in various environment related activities such as construction of compost pits, segregation of waste, tree plantation, carrying out tree census, preparation of biodiversity index in schools and colleges and immediate neighborhoods.
